Answered but didn’t speak. Immediately cut out so more than likely a machine from a call centre or scammer.
My husband received a call today with the same enquiry. Claimed to be from NHS checking If he’d had his COVID jab. He said he was still waiting (just a coincidence that he was having his second booster today)x. He said he was still waiting. She then asked, do you have life insurance cover against COVID. He asked why was she asking and when would he get his vaccine as he’d waited all day. She said Monday and then put the telephone down. Strong Indian accent too.
Claimed to be from NHS checking I’d had my COVID jab (obviously they’d already know) and if I’d received my certificate (hmmm). Then one last question sir, do you have life insurance cover against COVID. Once challenged he ended the call. Strong Indian accent.
I answered the call to hear the sound of a call centre then a man with an Indian accent said “Hi, how are you? I am calling from the NHS”. I replied that I didn’t think that he was & that I was going to put the phone down”. I didn’t get the chance as he immediately ended the call.
