01208 227339 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Recorded message claims call is from Telepro Marketing, currently about medical pendants, as do calls from 01208 227338. With calls from the same company claiming to use 01208 227337 the message claims the call was about will writing and funeral plans. 01208 227335, 01208 227336 and 01208 227340 have an exchange message saying that the service cannot be connected. It calls from 01302 492730 to 01302 492733 inclusive about driveways. Numbers immediately before and after both ranges quoted have an exchange message stating that the service cannot be connected, giving the impression of a potential scam or fraudulent call. Be wary.

Odballs, i answered the phone, i said hello, in a calm voice, 3 times, they did not say anything, then they put the phone down on me??/

Rang my landline. I picked up. Nobody there.

Male caller, who was obviously reading from a script, informing me I was eligible for a medical pendent and asking for my age. When I asked where he was calling from he hung up.

Male caller, said I was eligible for a medical pendant and was I over 50! No information given to him other than my number is ex directory for a reason - I don’t want these scam calls. I hung up

Yep , Medical call pendent , says I am eligible and wanted to know if over 50! I hung up Also I recognised his voice as they person calling about other things like loft installation etc... He calls a lot about various items.

Usual nonsense - in this case a medical alarm pendant. Presumably rifled information from NHS records after a recent hospital stay.

Called to offer a free medical alarm pendant if I was entitled, asked for my age then said that the pendant would be expensive I said that I’d discuss it with my partner and instant hang up. Total scammers, beware.

Caller stated I was eligible for a medical alert pendant and attempted to obtain additional information from me. When I asked him directly which company he was ringing from and the name of the "eligible person" he hung up

English accent caller and claimed to be calling from Medical Response Centre. Said I was entitled to a medical pendant, but it was obvious the caller knew nothing about me. Definitely attempting to sell me something or gather information. My advice, don't talk to them.

Supposedly ringing to check if I qualify for a free medical alarm pendant. Referred by local authorities, he couldn't name them or even confirm my name - total scam. Enjoyed wasting his time 😊
