Had a call from a male stating the company he works for wants to offer a 3yr warranty on our washing machine but to set up a DD that can be cancelled before the funds are taken. I asked him to calm back as I’m not sure if this is a scam or not

Man asking about my washing machine and if its still in good working order. Said I had an AEG. I told him he must have the wrong number as I have a Bosch and its rented. Not sure if he was going to ask for anything because he put the phone down after that.
