Finally answered the call from this number and after a little silence it was a heavily accented man in a call centre environment to 'help me with my ppi claim'. Desptre telling him twice he droned on about "did i have credit cards" and was clearly following a script. PPI Scammers, followed paul's suggestion above.
Got a call from this number, but what's the point in all this 'report it' nonsense if nobody does anything about it!!

Call from Boston, England Left it ring as I have seen from the above comments that it is likely to be a cold caller/PPI.
Enquiring about financial transactions likely to involve PPI claim Sounded Asian origin, difficult to understand. Politely advised not interested and would sort this myself, then blocked call on smartphone.
No idea who it is. Missed the call and came here to check. I'm guessing its another cold call as its not like any other number on my phone list or from around here.
