Supposed HMRC scam as above

Rang several times and cut off without message when I did not answer (I never pick up calls from unknown numbers). Interestingly, about an hour before had another unknown caller do the same, so my number must be making the rounds as I'm sure they are linked. The previous call was from 02045205470.

Scam. Do not pick up. Left no voicemail

Had this number call me while I was on the phone to HMRC. Didn't want to leave my place in the queue, so search here instead. Interesting everyone claims its a HMRC scam. Clearly HMRC's security is shocking

Same here, but when I press one, a so called HMRC agent, explained that my tax code is wrong, and I have to pay additional sum. Then some more explaining other voice said ''leave him'' and they hang up.

just did that to me

Automated message claiming to be from HMRC. Said a letter had been returned and legal action would be taken against me. Asked me to press 1 to talk to a representative. Didn't get any further than that because I hung up.
