It's is legit and is car0hone warehouse upgrade team. At no point did I share any bank details and he was able to tell me my details. Got a great deal on my upgrade.

Was initially dubious based on this research but got a genuine call from Carphone Warehouse asking about an upgrade - they quoted all my details to me which gave me confidence they were genuine and i have since successfully upgraded. Other callers have been forceful and had wrong details. So just check your details first!

Person pretending to be from Curry’s/Carphone Warehouse, informing that I could upgrade my contract earlier than expected. Obviously a scam. Do not provide any details.

Said he was from Carphone Warehouse about phone upgrade. Queried this in store with Carphone Warehouse who said the contract was not the same as theirs, that they don’t ring customers offering new contracts and that it was most likely a scam. Advised reporting it to Actionfraud.

Says Currys about phone upgrade but details not tallying with end of contract and person very rude implying I'm an idiot for not taking up his offer. Bought from e²Save which is part of Currys but they told me not to engage with call, so none the wiser if legit but I'm going to block.

Wanting to upgrade my SIM package. Told it would only take a few minutes. When asked for more detail was very evasive. Said I could not call back on the number he used. Would call me back at another time and date. Migraine anxious when I started to ask questions and he put the phone down sharpish. Clearly not right!
