Still happening in June 2025! DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION! If they get one piece of information from you this week (i.e. how many employees, how many handsets) can get another bit the next week, and so on, they can build a profile of you sufficient to mimic you in the future . Better still, block the caller - and if you don't know how, ask your telephone provider for help in doing that.
Harassing - persistent, wanting all information about our company
Puports to be from PPL/PRS - it may be a company working for them or may be someone pretending to be them. I won't be calling back.
Same format. Heavily accented voice telling me I needed a ppl licence for working from my living room.
Lady with a South African accent from a 'Music Licensing' company.
PPL sells licenses to play music at the workplace. Don't think it is a scam.
Same as above- and when I explained we are a virtual organisation so this is not relevant, the lady tried to get more information about our organisation from me. I told her to please stop calling us, she said she 'can't guarantee' this and kept pressing me for more information. Felt like a possible scam.
South African accent. Left a voicemail wanting to know how music is used in our business (?!) Probably trying to sell something.
