Had a call from Jessica asking about an accident in the last three years. When we asked her to explain she just kept reading from a script. She just kept repeat herself & sounded like a dalek so we hung up

Didn't answer and then called number back, don't usually do this but as I was awaiting a delivery I thought may be regards this. Goes onto a very rushed voicemail of something like 'fresh direct' couldn't catch it fully. However have now barred. I must get a call like this now nearly every day soooo annoying my blocked list gets bigger!

Received a call to say I had been in an RTA, they wanted to confirm my details. I said I would not confirm any details over the telephone and I hadn't been involved in an RTA. This type of call is distressing, I have recently had a fall and fractured my ankle (non vehicle associated) and when you are feeling vulnerable this is un-nerving. I really cannot understand how this company obtained my phone number and find the whole thing sinister and unwelcome. I asked them to remove my details from their data base which they said they would do. Unnecessary to attack people's privacy and bother them in this way.

That's exactly what I do Angela. Long gone are the days I answer the phone without knowing who it is. Blocked this number. Am blocking 2-3 a day

It has got to the point where, if I don't recognise a number, I don't answer. Then I check here. If the number is here I block it. If it isn't here and if the caller thinks it's important, they will call back. I can't think their's is a very successful marketing strategy given the quantity of negative feedback and growing list of blocked numbers!

Thanks to as I have just blocked it to! Ended up leaving an answer phone message just asking to speak to me then hung up.

Just received a call from this number today but I didn't answer it. My method is if you don't know the number ignore it because I only answer numbers with names on so I want all cold calling rectified that the companies get fined or either jail because this is harassment.

Bastards rung my Mobile saying i was in an car accident and that i could claim. Really because i dont fucking drive or have a poxy car.

Same thing, I asked in a very pompous posh voice " Can you tell me which vehicle", They said they had just been informed by my Insurance company that it was me. I shouted loudly away from the phone, " Collect the staff darlin, I want to find out which low life has damaged one of our vehicles". I then asked for as much detail as possible so I could catch the blighter as I no longer drive due to my alcoholism. They hung up. Now thats not very sporting of them.

Spoke to someone called Kingsley this afternoon from a company called...something like Fresh Contacts. He said his database showed that I was in an accident that I had to contact my insurance company for in the last 3 years (I haven't been). He asked for a few more details, but I replied that he's the one with the database, what else can he tell me about my accident...at which point he laughed and hung up. I'm thinking about making up a story next time...maybe an accident involving a UFO and alien contact

They called me and when I answered weren't on the line. As I was about to hang up they came on line so hung up anyway

Had a call from this number but when I answered it nobody spoke and suddenly hung up. If they are not prepared to talk why bother calling in the first place. Getting really fed up with these kind of people.

Nuisance call - didn't answer it.

I, too, had a call this pm from this number. I have NOT had an accident and wish that someone would tell this company that they are trying to con people into giving them information when the claim is clearly totally false. I agree wholeheartedly with the person above who says that these type of calls are very distressing to elderly people, especially those with dementia. This type of cold calling should be made illegal and should be stopped. HOW CAN WE STOP THEM? Who has this responsibility? Please put Invalid Accident Claim on your drop down list. Thank you.

Js gt a call from them about an accident I has allegedly been in and whether I would like to claim compensation. I said no I haven't been in any accident and I was half way through asking to take my name off the call list as I had received many calls similar to this. Unfortunately the caller rudely cut me off. No apology for calling or good bye. :(

This is a company I have never heard of making random calls advising that someone in the household has had a car accident in the last 3 years and had spoken to an insurance company and they were following it up ..... I cut them off saying that they were misinformed as no-one in the house had had an accident of any kind and would they please remove me from their list. The lady very politely said it wasn't a list but a data base and that she would remove my name and number from it. The call was ended abruptly and the number joined the dozens of others on my mobile which is now blocked. I do so wish there could be a law against these cold callers which could be upheld. Especially seeing the distress and damage they cause to the elderly first hand with my mother who sadly has dementia. There is a list you can join where your number shouldnt be used for cold calling but it doesn't work. Highly frustrating!
