They rang at about 2am to warn me of a power cut and to phone !!!!!!!!!!! million,million. million. No such number exist does it?. They phoned again at around 3am to say the power had been re-instated. I was not able to sleep after that as my wife is seriously ill in a nursing home and I thought the calls were from the home.

2.05pm Number not recognised so not answered. Caller rang off when answering machine kicked in

Called me at 11:01 5/10/2023. Thankfully my landline has Call Guardian so unless the caller identifies themselves they cut cut off without bothering me.

Southern electric rang landline at 2250 on 26 09 23. By the time I reached the phone a message was left - something about storm approaching. I usually get texts. Very annoyed and not necessary.

Scam call claiming to be Scottish & Southern Electricity. Automated message warning of power cut due to approaching storm & asking to acknowledged receipt of call by pressing 1.

Automated voice alert from Welsh Water / Dŵr Cymru to inform me that there was an issue with the water supply in my area - (discolouration/low pressure/bursts etc) "press 1 to confirm you have recieved this message". Had similar messages from them previously on the same number - nothing to worry about! (had signed up for this service on their website a while ago). I can only guess that they have farmed out the alert system to an outside agency based in Nottingham, hence the 01159 STD area code.

Pointless call from Welsh Water as we have an answering machine. Most of the message was missing.

I was out for a few hours and had missed 2 calls from this number. After reading the comments I did not dial the number and May block it if it happens again.

Call from this number saying they were from SSEN (Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks) to contact me about about my utilities. Since I have just been switched from Bulb to Octopus this seemed unlikely, so I hung up. Then I phoned the number back, hiding my own number and a voice said "You have probably had a miscall etc. etc. so I hung up again.

Same as the other people message on answer phone saying press one if you have received the call or another number to hear message again Did not chance either No idea what it is about but guess some sort of scam

After returning back from some shopping that we had to get, there were three phone messages left on the answering machine, all within twenty minutes of each other, and they all said the same, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR THIS CALL, and then they hung up. STRANGE SET UP.............

This number has called at least 4 times within an hour. Garbled message and I couldn’t be bothered to listen.

Nuisance - 5 repeated calls.

I had several calls during the night waking me up each time. The automated message said 'We are not available right now' and went on to waffle about being cut off and sorry. The invite to press button 1 or 2 was not taken up as this might be a link to a premium cost return call! Plonkers whoever these are!

It was a genuine call (recorded message) from Welsh Water asking people to use water sparingly during the heatwave.
