This is 100% a scam. DO NOT GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS! I phoned real eon next and they told me there was no record of them having called me from any number at any of the times this number called me claiming to be eon next. This is a scam. Just hang up and block.
BE VERY CAREFUL.do not gove any details to these ppl.Claiming to be e-on next.asked for my full name I give first name and last then she was trying to get my full name and address I says I am not giving you it unless you can tell me what this is regarding.(she couldn't tell me what it was regarding till she could confirm my details)very strange.she sounded like the same woman pretending to be from 02 a few months back and I had to block her on 3 different numbers what she called off!
Didn`t recognise the number so did not answer it. If it is anyone important they have my email to follow up with. Or post me a letter! It may well be Eon as they have hired clowns before.
Rude woman claimed to be from Eon next. No idea if she was, but I suspect not since she was so unpleasant.
Phone didn’t actually ring but a message that they’d tried to call, possibly hoping I’ll call back
Just had a call from this number saying they were from Eon Next and they "wanted to make sure everything was okay with my account". Weird vibes and long pauses, at one point they stumbled through saying "this call may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes" to try and make it sound more legit. I hung up and blocked this number, definite scam vibes.
It is definitely a scam number. I emailed eon next and this was their response: " Thanks for your email. That number isn't on my list of numbers we use, I'd ignore it completely. There is a chance it's from us, but I'm not 100% so I'd say don't interact with them." Do NOT gove any personal info.
No it isn't. I emailed eon next as I am a customer with them and this was their response: "Thanks for your email. That number isn't on my list of numbers we use, I'd ignore it completely. There is a chance it's from us, but I'm not 100% so I'd say don't interact with them." You must be part of the scam...

IT'S E-ON NEXT !! I called the number back, no bank details discuss just my gas and electric. Name and address with email to confirm who you are! Then openly discuss my account and smart meter update ! No scam or spam.
Claims to be from Eon Next. Won’t tell you why they are calling, want all your details first. Don’t answer!
Called said it was Eon Next - didnt give any info put phone down
General spam...or I think it could be! I received calls from them three days in a row. Decided to pick up on the third call. The lady had an accent which I struggled to pick up - it sounded as though she was calling from Eon Next. I was asked about my security details but felt uncomfortable sharing so I just made an excuse to leave the call. That said, I do think that Eon Next does have offices in Nottingham. However, with the number of scams on the rise, it's better to be safe than sorry!
Same thing, said the were IONIX or something like that, could not understand the accent but said they wanted to take me through security questions when I asked who they were so I said you should at least know my name if you called me and then I asked them to take me off their cold calling database, she said she could not do that so I hung up
Left a voicemail, no speaking at first then some garbled sounds not even english , sounded like a call centre in the back ground
Claimed to be E.on next but i don’t even have an account with them so definitely a scam.
Claimed to be from eon, very convincing, asking for info to pass security checks. Did NOT give any info. Told him to ring back, he did not. Totally a scam or fraud.
Didnt answer but got a voicemail, sounded like the person was either outside or driving
Claiming to be from eon next. Sounded like they were bloody driving. Scam
Called today claiming to be from either Ionics or Eon Next, hard to tell, heavily accented, didn't like it when I told her to call back as I was driving.

Said they were from Sky, sounded dodgy, offering 30% discount to my account, I dont have an account
Unknown number so I let it go to voicemail. No message left, so assume scammer.
