Telephoned my elderly mother suggesting they could save money on her boiler repairs. Told by the caller that in relation to any money matters the caller would need to speak to her son. The caller became rude and belligerent before calling my mother an idiot and ended the call. I called the company and spoke with someone who identified themselves as a supervisor, though I wasn't convinced. This "supervisor" said he would look into the matter but said they didn't need to take any personal details - clearly no interest in conducting their own enquiries. A number to be aware of.
When I asked who was speaking he said I am not going to tell you that ! Find out for yourself ! Very rude
Picked up waited a few seconds no responce so hung up.
Scam caller offering a call pendant targeting elderly.
I have a scam call about a fall alarm and i give grief they didnt like it they met their match with me,i also said your an Indian scammer from a fake call centre and i asked where did you get the number from it went quiet and put the phone down
Fourth time in a couple of days been contacted by people trying to sell me a fall alarm. ie a wearable button to warn someone if you fall. My local authority already has this service linked to the health and care services. I suspect scam or expensive alternative to the official one.
"Jordan" said he was calling from the Medical Health Services. I asked him who the Medical Health Services were and he hung up. Third call in as many days. Knew my name, sort of.
Did not speak this time but I had a similar call last week stating it was a totally free device, however through my own family circumstances I knew there would be an ongoing charge and when I asked about this they hung up.....Beware and let your elderly parents know, just in case.
targeting elderly, remain silent, they hang up
Claiming to be from "Medica Health Services " trying to sell a Fall alarm, when asked how they got my number he did say something about a list sounds fishy to me please be careful they may be targeting the elderly
Claiming to be from a medical emergency company offering a “free” alert alarm , when I questioned them they mumbled something (probably abusive) and hung up
Offering a free medical device to all 'elderly' people over the age of 50. Claimed to be based in London, calling from a Leeds area code. Clearly using a call router and dodgy af.
