Whether it is a hoax or not depends on who sent the text. If you don't want to receive these texts, disable the service on your line by pressing 4 at the end of the call. There is a silent period of 5-10 seconds at the beginning of the call, presumably to allow answering machines to read their welcome message and switch to record. This leads live recipients to think it's a silent call and hang up, in which case it will ring back every few minutes.
Found out it's an sms message, telling you to phone a number they give you, no way am I phoning them I don't know who they are
