I’ve also received a call from them from uk … I live in Canada !!! Exactly the same script ! Knew also my first name !
Said currency exchange. I kept asking who they were had my name. Very tiring. Second call of the morning. Fraud.
They asked me if I was Mr. X (they knew my name), and as soon as I said who am I speaking to, they hung up. Scary spam.
Called and addressed me as Mr followed by my first name. Couldn't really hear due to background noise but caller said something about an account being blocked. I replied to say the account didn't exist and I wasn't going to waste any more of my time.
Left a noisy voice note. Couldn’t call back. Line doesn’t answer phone calls.
Called to say I had a blockchain account from four years ago. I told them to stop calling people to defraud them. They hung up. I blocked them. Nasty people! Beware.
Same here. Knew my name and I've supposedly got some bitcoins, that I need to withdraw or lose.
Had exactly the same ! Same amount of bitcoin too and she was so surprised when I said just close the account !
Knew my name - said calling on behalf of 'Blockchain Company'. Spam/phishing call very likely. very pushy wanted to connect to my computer
Called from noisy place and said she was from Blockchain. Foreign accent. Knew my name. Spoke over me when I asked where she got my number and told me I had to listen to her before asking questions. I hung up. Call reported to https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/nuisance-calls-and-messages/spam-texts-and-nuisance-calls/
Asked for my name and hung up . Busy call centre. Blocked
Spam call saying my Bitcoin account has been frozen. I don't even have an account! - best to hand up and add the number to your black list.
Called informing me I had an account with 4.2 Bitcoins in it. They wanted to to activate the account. SCAM
Called me to let me know I have bit coins and it could be converted to £100,000.00 GBP. They were calling from block chain. They had my name, number and old work email address which is worrying. It sounded like a very busy call centre. I told them I am not falling for your scam and hung up!
Called, heard a lot of background noise and then hung up. Sounds like a call centre.
Called me claiming to be from a company called Block Chain stating I had an account with them with 4.2 bitcoin asking what I’d like to do with the account. Had my real name so unsure how this was obtained. It was so loud it sounded like they were calling from a nightclub. I stated I never opened an account with them and to do what they want with it and hung up.
Caller in a busy call centre; purportedly calling on behalf of 'Blockchain Company'. Questioned the name and they hung up. Spam/phishing call likely.
Catherine (apparently) called from what sounded like a busy pub. Could barely understand what she was saying. Killed the call and blocked the number.
