07884 895631 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Picked up call on home landline. I said Hello. Heard buttons redialling and I put down receiver.

Claimed to be from Department of Work and Pensions. Not believable.

Called my land line at 18:54 on Monday 15/12/14 - only background noise from a call centre. Disconnected after a couple of seconds.

received a call from this number and as soon as responded , got disconnected.

Complete nuisance and quite aggressive. Needs to be stopped!

Got a call which connected through to a call centre. Nobody spoke (including me) before they cut me off. Number goes to voicemail.

I picked up, it connected and there was background noise from a call centre, but the call terminated after a couple of seconds. Pity, because I could have done with some solar panels - not.

Received call from "Future Energy" on this number - second time it has happened. Claimed I'd been chosen because I was between 50 and 75. More worrying is that they appeared to have address details and the fact that I'm a homeowner. Previous caller had tried to sell solar panels at £5 - £10 per month on top of existing enegry bills!! I asked them not to call again and to remove my details from their system at which point they asked me if I really wanted them to call me every day - not what I said at all!! These people need to be stopped before they con too many people. They are a damned nuisance and are probably operating illegally.

Standard spam selling call. They hung up when I asked for how they had obtained my details. Not even bright enought to withold their number!

Got called today, caller asked if I was mr "X". When I said yes I was then told "no worries, I think I have the wrong mr X". I think the weary tone of my confirmation may have put him off.

I just had a call from this number and "screened" it on my answerphone. No message left but just background noise as if from a call centre. Strange since it supposed to be a Vodafone mobile number! My number is ex directory so this was a randomn scamming / selling call.

Just taken a call from this number, the caller asked to speak to Mr Simpson. There is no one here by that name and when I said this, he asked to speak to the Homeowner. I said no, and he hung up. There was background noise as if he was calling from a call centre.
