This is the first time I have had a call from this number, but I have had the same recorded message from several other numbers from Telefonica UK, and all on my landline. I block them, but they pop up on a different number and are becoming a pain. It is 2 or 3 times a week, usually a mobile number but occasionally a landline from places like Bristol or Aberdeen. The woman says she is calling from bank security (no bank specifically) and there have been two unusual purchases on my card (no provider mentioned). One is to Amazon for £190 and the other to (I can't remember but someone I have never bought from) for £280. The woman says to press 1 if these purchases are genuine and 2 to speak to a member of the security team. I haven't done either, so I don't know what would happen, but better safe than sorry.
