Just called me at 17.30pm, saying he is from public health board. Asked if I had all my covid vaccines and they’re up to date, if I have the correct covid cards and if my life insurance is up to date. Foreign man (possibly from Asia) but sounded like there were people behind him talking as well.
Young woman from a busy call centre far away said she was from Social health care department. Since the UK is sadly lacking in social health care, and I've never heard of this title, I replied "I don't believe you". She asked 'why?", but I didn't want to improve her spiel, so I just said "goodbye" and finished the call.
Some woman with heavy accent saying she was Christina from social healthcare department. Obvious scam. Silence before call connects is a dead give away. When are UK telecoms providers going to stop this?
Did answer the call but no one spoke they then ended the call.
Foreign sounding chap, said from public health and asking about Covid vaccinations. Told him I thought it was a scam and he said it wasn’t, then hung up.
Was told that the lady calling was from the social healthcare department and hung up on me when I wouldn't confirm whether or not I'd had my covid vaccination. Highly suspect it was a scam call.
Missed the call tried calling bk. Just got an engaged tone and it cut off
I had a similar call - advising they were calling from the 'Public Health Department' and asking me if I'd had all my vaccinations. Told him I wasn't giving confidential information to him. Suspect a scam.
Took a little while to connect. A foreign-accented man said it was a call about “public health” (I think). I said no thank you and ended the call.
