When I answered a call from this number there was a loud ‘tone’ then some background chatter which sounded Thai, Indonesian, possibly Asian (?) before a female voice said ‘Hello’ in English and then hung up. Had a feeling that the call was purely to see if the line/phone number was active and in use. Just usual scammer preliminary groundwork.

I didn't recognise this number, so I did not pick up when it rang. Call received at 08:40, rang for 14 sec. Left no voice message. No clue as to identity or intent, so I will not be calling back. I suspect robo- or coldcall.
