Caller hung up when answered, hence, AUTO CALL, seeing if someone would pickup, then your number is short listed for a follow up call, this time by a real person, you answer's it, you will be in DANGER of being scammed by a real professional scammer, with fake convincing story of why you should do as they ask. Hence a loss of money from your bank account is most likely - WARNING - If anyone wants to talk to you, they will leave a message - make sure your answer machine is working and you will never miss a genuine call, any calls you don't no, never answer them or call them back, if you are unsure, ask family members to help - SCAMMERS they are looking for vulnerable people/victims - If you don't no who is calling you, you do not recognise the number, DONT ANSWER IT – If its a genuine caller, they will leave a message on your answer machine with their details, if you don't recognise their details, phone a friend or family member to seek help/advice.
Said they were from Auto telefonica about my Vodafone SIM (I'm not with Vodafone). I didn't stay on the line long enough to establish if it was spam or scam.
Didn't say anything and just hung up when I answered.
From EE. Call everyday from different numbers - scam.
“Calling from Sky”, but accent very hard to understand. Have had many similar calls in the past couple of years, usually offering some special deal or upgrade. I just say No thank you now and hang up.
Said they were from EE lady with Indian accent.Told then I was uninterested and blocked the caller and reported it as spam
Same details rang me up from landline first then mobile number asking for my email address and to log on to my sky app … didn’t trust the way it was going so hung up as a scam.
Answered and they hung up straight away. Looks like scam/spam
Missed call at ~12pm on 5th August. No call back or voicemail left.
Called at 2:21pm. I answered it and could hear people muttering in the back. Realised it was likely a scam call and the caller was probably in a call centre. Indian woman then spoke and said “hello” just before I ended the call.

Said they were from Sky and offered a 30% discount - I could hardly understand what he was saying and was suspicious so hung up
Didn’t even bother to pick up, but yh it’s giving scam
Answered and they put the phone down straightaway
Answered, just to waste their time. No-one spoke and hung up. I assume their computer had already found a victim
Called to say they were from sky, saying number ending in my number was due a free upgrade, I stated this was a scam call and to remove my number from their database and they hung up the call. number now blocked.

Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
