Just called on our landline saying they were from BT Internet. Yesterday had a call (from a different disguised number) saying they were from BT Open Reach - knowing full well that "BT Open Reach" doesn't exist anymore. The lady with the Indian accent advised that our IP address had gone from private to open and visible to anyone on the internet (as if). Asked who else used the internet in our home. Told her none of her business. Asked how many appliances used the internet in our home - told her none of her business. Wanted me to go and get my mobile. Told her mobile was on charge at the moment. Just a complete scam. Blocked number.
