Claimed to be from Vodafone and offered 20% discount on existing contract. Had only just entered new contract so definitely not Voda!

Omg same thing happened to me. They said they are offered 40 percent on my sim and will post the sim. Asked more my address but I didn't give it, they only too my name.

Claimed to be from EE asking if I wanted an upgrade at 40% discount and when I said no they offered a 20% on my normal bill instead. Took my name and address then said that they'd call back later to activate my discount, was already a bit suspicious when they struggled with the spelling of my name (surely it would have been right in front of them) but calling back again to activate seemed an unnecessary step and likely they'd want more personal information from me. Checked with EE and confirmed not them.
