Call pretending to be from O2, offering a 20% discount on my monthly contract. Claimed to be sending 2 text messages as part of a verification process. Texts didn't arrive, she kept asking if they had arrived... 3 minutes later they still hadn't. She got bored and hung up. On the plus side, I wasted 5 minutes of her time
