As others said, this is a scam. They say they are TalkTalk and have all your details and sound very genuine. They said were calling in response to a complaint I made two days earlier. When I would not give them my bank details so they could give me "a refund" they jammed my computer and encrypted all my files. Now they are ringing to demand money - which is the next step. Please hang up on any calls purporting to be from TalkTalk.

Just had call from this number claiming to be TalkTalk and that my IP address had been hacked and they wanted me to follow their instructions. Felt this was a complete scam so I asked him if he could tell me my name to see his reaction, he went very quiet and then hung up. It was a very noisy background to the call, there seemed to be a time delay in his responses to me & he appeared to have an Indian accent.

- Had 3 calls now - a very noisy background - hard to make out anything said. 3rd call asked me if I was the TalkTalk controller. When I said "No", they hung up.
