I got same and was concerned by comments but looks to be fully legit DHL follow up on a personal import. Caller from DHL said that there would be a text that I needed to follow to pay import fee. At no point was I asked to pay money on the call, just to follow the text. Text never arrived so tried to find somewhere I could follow up. A search on number took me here. Anyway, eventually found a link on official DHL to pay invoice here when I entered my shipping info and the amount matched the figure in the call. So the call appeared to be genuine.
It is legitimate. When receiving goods from outside the EU, you have to pay an import charge. If they have your phone number, DHL will call you ahead to request payment. It's normal the courier takes this payment for any shipment. If you want to be sure it's legit ask them to email you a link to where you can pay online and to confirm what your tracking number is. This should cross-reference with something that is being shipped to you.
Got the same call. As above Asian Told him paid so he gave up. D.H.L. need to address this. How are they getting details. If land line police need to make a call.
