They claimed an eBay transaction had been declined and I had to contact them if I wanted to go through with the transaction. This was completely made up.
From 07986 961709 apparently NatWest?!?!? Exactly the same as what everyone else has said £1309.99 for eBay and press N and ring 0203 8968062 - what’s wrong with people? When is this going to carry a criminal offence code!!
Just had the same EBay purchase amount and exactly the same conformation code as the last report. Nat West request that you forward scam text messages to 88355.
"NatWest: 568942 is the code for £1390.99 to 'eBay', if you haven't requested this please reply "N" and call us immediately at +442038968062". Obviously a scam as poor grammar.
This number tried to scam my 84 yr old mum. They have her bank card number and we've immediately cancelled the card. This number is a scammer. She had the same message stating it was from Natwest with a payment of £1309.00 to Ebay.
