Claimed to be Vodafone, I could tell instantly it was a call center in India with the background sounds put down the phone instantly
Be aware! Phishing for your personal details. I have been called by this number by an Indian/Asian Nonce lady claiming that she is calling me from Vodafone Customer Support. They offered an excellent FAKE upgrade option to the iPhone 13 Pro. I hung up in the middle of the conversation and called the number back, which was not working. She immediately called me back, and I played a long, asked advanced questions and she transferred me to another Indian/Asian scammer woman who repeated the same BS. I asked for 256gb instead of 128gb and the monthly price didn't change lol.
Said from ee, they are not, when challenged they hung up
Claiming to be vodafone - I called actual vodafone back ad they confirmed no one had tried to call me, so was a scam.
Sounded like an oriental lady, but the line was so bad I couldn't understand what she was saying, so hung up. Assumed it was a scam.
Claimed to be from Vodafone wanting to give me an instant upgrade which was cheaper than usual. I played along for a while and asked if I could get the same deal on the App. He said no. He could do it online or on the whone. He wanted to know my name and DOB. I gave him my cat's name and DOB. He got increasingly annoyed. Strung him along for about 10 minutes and then he got more annoyed with me and said I was wasting his time. Strong Asian accent. He said he was in Pakistan but the number is a +44.
Said he was calling from Vodafone customer services. I haven't been with Vodafone for 10 years and can attest that they do not have ANY customer service!
