Missed the call redialed, message about medical pendant - scam.

Caller did not ask for anyone by name. When I asked with whom he wanted to speak., the caller ' John' said ' thank you for your time's and rang off. Obviously a scam, but what?.

Guy said 'due to your medical and mobility problems' I was eligible for a free medical alert and said he was calling from Dorset - which he wasn't as the number is for Aberystwyth! Asked if I was over 50. I asked him to tell me about my 'medical conditions' since I didn't know I had any. He couldn't answer said ' I'm fairly new to the job'! When I asked how he got my info he said his manager would call me back and answer any questions! I said don't bother.

Exactly - I recognised the voice as one who called me about getting a new driveway - this time it was for one of those medical alerts for 'over 50s' - as if! what a thick scammer this is - also said was calling from Dorset - said he'd been given my number but couldn't say who by - just another con artist

It's a Telemarketing caller, offering some medical device. I asked how they got my number, as I'm registered with the Telephone Preference service. I don't think he'll be calling again....

This guy sounded exactly like the John from 'driveway centre' ("is there still a driveway at the property?") so I left the phone off-hook and let him waste his own time. But this time it was also some rubbish about free medical somethings.

Phone rang, my husband said hello but got no answer & they put their phone down

Telemarketer or possible scam Caller stated he was calling from "The Medical Centre" and that I was eligible for a medical pendant and asked whether I was aged over 50. At this point I ended the call.

think its a sales pitch for medical alert pendants

Did not answer, thought it was a scam.
