apparently they get your contact name and call and say that you have contacted them... this time the caller identified themselves as Tony Mitchell.. 01952 767780, clever way to get you to call them back which doesnt connect, and then you do a search and come up with some telecoms company...

They are trying to confirm your name probably because they have your number and name to sell onwards. As soon as you confirm they hang up. Simply don’t say anything.
