says from something called the Insurance Review Centre. They wanted to know if I had life insurance. I refused to say and she was rather cross about it. Says she is based in Liverpool. I questioned if the IRC was registered with the FCA - she said "of course" - but FCA clearly states it is not. Suggest hang up and block

Just called me. Said it was about my life insurance with them for review. Man could barely speak English. I told him my life insurance was through work not direct and this was just a scam call. He kept saying no scam no scam, so I told him where to go and hung up. Reported the number as scam and blocked it.

Call received - at first no answer but then it transferred through to a Call Centre. A woman asked for me by my first name so I replied with "who am I talking to". She said "Its Kelly from the Review Centre" then laughed, apologized and cut me off. Number now blocked.

Phoned back, caught him off guard. Was obviously on a call feeder as answered with "hello I'd like to speak to.....muffle" then got confused. Weird as I called them back and hadn't said anything. Sounded a bit recorded in a way...lots of background white noise...said his name was James calling from <muffle> regarding <muffle> life insurance policy. Hung up. Utter douche bags.

Missed Call from this number. Rang the number back and it was picked up immediately with the person saying "Hello...and my first name." I asked who this was and they said it was the "Review Centre." It transpired that they are (apparently) reviewing my life insurance policy. Which I do not have, so possibly a scam or telemarketing.
