I did answer the call without looking at the number but there was a long pause like you get at call centres so I hung up. My phone has subsequently highlighted the number as spam. My partner also had a number of calls a couple of hours later but did not answer.

My phone intercepted the ring and identified potential fraud. Googled number and brought me here. Interesting how it shows Harris not the most populous of places!

This is really unsettling. My wife got a call from them, she didnt answer. One minute later, my phone was ringin. Same number. Glad we have a habit of not answering unregistered numbers. What we're wondering is how did they get our mobile numbers? Since they called us simultaeneously, they're probably reading it from a list? We're new in UK, we havent registered in anything yet except from the government essentials (bills, council tax, nhs, etc.)

"steve" claimed he was from EE 5G, & refused to confirm his office address saying it's not EE company policy to share, so i insisted on speaking to his manager, "Amanda" - she repeated what Steve said, & repeated the new 5G SIM card for £8 per month; these b***ards have hacked my EE account; + they've tried from 07940-412132 & 01767-848790...

Says o2 have had high complaint levels and want me to only pay 75% of my bill for 6 months. All you have to do is get sent a text message which I assume will give them access to things they shouldn't have. Called them a scumbag and hung up.

I received a phonecall from 01859623645 about 45 minutes ago but my phone notified me it was a spam call so I googled it and it brought me here and after reading previous comments I'm glad I didn't answer as it confirmed that it definitely is spam so be careful people

Tried telling me I could have a reduced phone bill, pity they could not get my phone number right

Came up as Isle of Rum, Scotland. I answered and it repeated “thank you for calling”. Then slowed down and sounded dodgy and almost evil?? Anywayyy just ignore it and hang up!!! Stay safe :p

Phone did not accept the call as it knew it was spam, so I googled the number and it bought me here and from others comments confirms to not answer and block.

They called my mobile and wanted to talk about EE. I said I wasn't with EE. Indian man said I am calling from EE Head Quarters and then hung up.

While my phone was ringing above the number on screen iPhone notified me that it was a ‘suspected scammer’ so I didn’t answer. No voicemail left.

Answered my Mum's phone and it was an Indian guy. He hung up so guessing it's spam as we don't know anybody on the Isle of Rum
