Disgusting individual could barely understand him with accent and all the background noise from his foreign scamming colleagues. Asked for business owner advised not available, no clue what he was saying in reference to company name, intermittantantly dropping out, then he started asking can I hear him, obviously trying to conceal his voice from anyone listening in the background and asked 3 or 4 times if I have a Wah-gina....good grief if you're going to try and talk dirty at least pronounce the words properly. After 3 or 4 times of asking same question I advised him nobody works here with that name and he hung up
Call received from 01809 260 042. 'Sean' claimed to be calling from the National Grid Station Meter Service Dept (?? the phone connection was very intermittent, and he spoke so fast that I couldn't catch all that he was saying) saying that they'll be changing our electric meter on 18 Aug and that we'd be without power for 45mins. He couldn't understand that I don't have the permissions to give authority to confirm our details nor to give he go-ahead for that work to take place. I asked him to put all this info in an email so I could forward it to those who deal with our utilities, but he was quite insistent that he needed me to authorise it all otherwise he couldn't send even a blank email. We ended up going around in circles so when the line went quiet, I hung up.
Extremely rude and bordering on aggressive man on the telephone, demanding I give him my directors number to talk about our electric metre. As a business, I know I would never have anything done without my director or back offices knowledge telling me first. Once he became aggressive on the phone I hung up and he called back straight away which I ignored. Strong indian accent, did not understand where he said he was calling from.
Claimed to be from National Grid and said they were coming to change our meter!
Claimed to be from the national Grid wanted lots of information. not given. VERY pushy Indian and could not understand alot of what he was saying the NG number is an 0800 number
Calls every single day. Bordering on harassment. Trying to get personal details. Can hear children playing in the background obviously a scam
