Caller said his name was Kevin Morgan, obvious Indian accent, Auto-network. I told him to stop wasting my time and hung up.
Cut off when I answered. Felt I should not have answered. SCAM.
I was called by this number and as soon as I answered it cut off. But if I ever have anyone saying they’re from virgin media for example I ask them to confirm my email address or account number to prove they have my details. Just like companies run US through security checks we should do it back to see if it’s really them or a company we are dealing with genuinely
Was adamant they were calling from O2, when asked for more proof the call was repeatedly transferred. These clowns are definitely not from O2, do not give them any information whatsoever.
Pretended to be from 02 offering 40 % discount on my monthly bill
The guy phoned me and told me he was from the CPS and I had committed treason as I had placed a stamp upside down on a letter over 8 months ago. Said that it was an offence which doesn’t carry a prison sentence however a fixed penalty. Tried to take my bank details in order to charge me £500 to pay the FPN. He said that if I don’t it will go to court and if found guilty I can be charged up to £10,000. Obviously a huge scam, guy is off his head - but watch out especially as OAP’s may believe him.
Pretended to be 3G mobile offering discount, they did not introduce themselves nor address me by name. I said I already spoken to 3G last week ,and then he put the phone down
He rang me and told me he was from virgin media and that he was going to give me a promotion 😭😭
Couldn't really understand what she was saying but I think she said O2. Offered me 40% discount on an iPhone, but I hung up after that!
