Housing association Scam .. do not answer ..

Supposed housing disrepair team, the woman said. Sounded like an Asian accent. Very obviously a scam, wanting to know if I own the property I live in. I said I rent and no repairs are needed

Very thick Asian accent could barley understand him but could make out that he listed some housing defects and asked if I had any, said something about the council that I couldn't make out and read my address to me like it was some sort of proof of ID.

Called me asking me if I had any housing repairs needed, when I then began to ask questions about who they represented, they hung up quickly.

Sick of these people. I blocked the number yesterday and they are now calling in another number. I manage my 90 year old mother’s finances and they are asking for her. She owned her property so this is clearly a scam. The women said we have reported issues in our housing property!!. Where do they get off harassing old people. My mum would have been so confused and worried. Sick.

The line dropped and so I called back - the number does not work and so is probably spoofed.

I got a missed call so I've looked it up and glad I did as now know it's a scam so will block it. This is the third number I've blocked with this type of scam. Also had someone knock the door the other day trying them same thing.

01785800510 This number called my mobile yesterday (29/01/25) at lunchtime (12:20ish). Very strong Indian/Asian accent, & he spoke very fast. I could barely understand him. It sounded like he said he was from the Housing Department. I told him I had no buisness with the Housing Department & that I thought it was a scam & I was hanging up. He replied OK, goodbye.

This phone /company have been ringing me for weeks asking if i have disrepair in 'my housing property' and I hate being rude to phone operators but there is no other way - it doesn't even has an impact because they keep on calling! Update your data and delete my number just doesn't work out. Anyone knows how to file a complain? i haven't even taken the company name as it's difficult to understand.

It’s a scam! When I called them out for being a scam she shouted at me saying stop wasting my time and hung up

They've tried to call me before, triggering Google spam warning. I used 'screen' to see if it picked up any explanation - got to 'housing repair team' before I hung up. Parasites. Ignore 'em and block 'em!
