I think the said New Generation when questioned as to who they were, didnt introduce themselves were straight into the script speaking very quickly. Something about checking windows and doors re energy efficiency. Made it sound like this was automatically happening to the properties in my area, they were coming. I assume if I had let them continue an appt was the next step. I wasnt being asked I was being told it would happen. Ehen I asked who had arranged this said the government were behind this - scare tactic or trying to legitimise themselves. Claimed they werent selling anything when questioned. They gave up and hung up when I insisted on knowing WHO had put my home forward, who had arranged this wanted a name to contact the person. Highly dishonest way of operating
