0161 524 7910 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

I received a call from this number 01615247910 a few weeks ago, and spoke to a Lady claiming to be from O2 offering me a reduction on the cost of my contract to try to convince me she was from O2 said she was going to send me a code for me to read back to her, I received a code, which I refused to give her and hung up. The code would appear to have come from o2 because it was under many other codes I had previously requested which is usually preceded with a message sent just before the code comes through WARNING you not to give the code to anybody even if they claim to be an employee from o2. BE WARNED IF YOU HAND OVER THIS CODE TO THESE SCUMBAGS YOU WILL ALLOW THEM TO ACCESS YOU O2 ACCOUNT AND ALLOWING THEM STEAL YOUR INFORMATION PROBABLY INCLUDING YOUR BANK DETAILS!!! COME ON O2 HOW CAN THESE SCUMBAGS GET YOU TO SEND ME A CODE, GET A GRIP ON THIS SCAM!!!

0161 525 7910 A lady just called claiming she’s from O2 offering me 30% discount on my bill. She actually sent me a code which seems to be from O2 and asked me to confirm the number by reading it out. I suspected a scam and I cut the phone. She ranged me back couple of times but refused to answered. It seems dodgy to be honest.

This number recently tried to contact me making out they was sky I immediately hung up and rang sky and sky never tried to call me

SCAM!!! 2 months ago they bought a mobile phone with my O2 account and they were calling me again to do the same!!! AVOID THEM!!

Didn’t answer this call as didn’t recognise number. But immediately got a text with code number from o2. Contacted o2 looks like someone trying to scam. Have now updated my phone security.

Caller said they were from O2. Hung up very quickly when I said I wasn’t expecting a call from O2.

Guy said he was from O2 offering me a discount on my contract. Said I was pay as you go, he said yes he knew. Hung up when he said he'd transfer me to his discount team, and immediately got two more calls back from similar, though different, Manchester numbers, both of which I rejected. Seems very dodgy!

Caller wanted to offer me a 30% discount on my O2 mobile Account but I had to read back a number he texted me. Had no idea where he was really from so terminated acall and did not read back the number to him.
