0161 524 4993 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

told me my mum asked him to call me because im a naughty boy, i told him i was busy sleeping with his mum before he hung up

Every day for the last few weeks I have been getting calls from an unknown caller using a variety of U.K. codes. When I answer there is a pause, so I know it’s a scam call. They ask my name then want to know whether I’m a homeowner or tenant but when I try to ask what they want or are trying to sell the line goes dead. Callers voice always has a heavy Indian/Asian accent.

Knew my real name/marital status, asked me a bunch of questions (age, am i a homeowner, make of my washing machine, breed of my dog - I don't have a dog). Then when I asked what it was for, said it was from UKToday to assess whether I would be interested in supporting a dog shelter. Probably a scam. Call centre in India.

From uk today, ask to speak to named person. Asked what they done he indian replied I don’t want to tell you and hung up. Twat

They new my real name, i said it wasn't me, sounded like a call centre from India. She very firmly prompted for my real name and said she just wanted to ask 3 questions, but prompted for my name first. I hung up

Silent call

A man claiming to be from a company called "UK Today" wanting to ask several questions "to find out the best brands in the local area", hung up after I questioned the purpose of the call.

HMRC claiming i had a refund. SCAM Indian man with lots of noise in the background

Recurring calls all starting with 0161524---- last 4 digits differ but are similar. I don't answer these calls and they don't leave a message

Answered and there was a puss with no sound. Usually means spam or scam.
