Recorded message claiming £249 paid to Amazon & £999 to international money transfer. If not authorised by me then press 1 or 2 to speak to someone. This is clearly an attempted fraud.
Just had call saying from bank protection regarding payment to Amazon and over £900 abroad. Just hung up - had similar calls before.
Recorded message purported to be from my bank but didn't say which one (only got one) asking me to verify 2 payments out this am. One to Amazon + one other. Had similar calls before so know it to be a total scam. Hung up and added number to my "call protect" list. Hope that's an end to it.
Call from Bank Security relating to Amazon & Intl money transfers. Presumed to be scam / fraud. These types of call could be shut down so quickley is there was an easy to use reporting service
They said my Crefit card had 2 x transactions made this morning £1100 & £300. Asked me to wait online, I hung up. ? Scam
Female. Landline. Caller’s Number: 01557331655. Similar voice to ones had in past. She said Something like “This is to warn you that an attempt has been made to pay from your account £300 from Amazon and £1350 from West Virginia”. I just hung up. Might voice recognition software help trace who the person is? Paul
