Domain name scammers they become very rude and aggressive if you say your not intrested in buying whatever service they are offering. Avoid at all costs.

Domain name scammers. They make out they are some sort of governing body to trick you into trusting what they say. All they are doing is trying to sell you domains related to your business for vastly inflated costs.

Some domain name company or other. Claimed he'd got my name from nominet.. when I told him that our record is redacted, he started trying the bullshirt baffles brains approach by mentioning non existent parts of GDPR. The crux of the call was a "courtesy call" to tell me a domain has become available - told him outright it was a sales call and I'm not paying more than a fiver for a domain. This is the sort of "scam" that cons naive business people in to thinking they're in need of a new domain to reinforce their brand.
