Said he was from bt and there was a problem with me Internet. Told him we didn't have any Internet here and not to call again, but he has phoned back several times saying he will continue to phone. Has phoned 4 times in 2 days, once asking if I was up yet. Very rude and nasty man
No speech but minutes after a call from a different number claiming to be BT Openreach. From comments on here it’s clearly same scammer
Peter Disuza, same BT hack scam. Kept him busy for 30 minutes then thanked him and said I've got to go to work and I'll call BT on their free phone number later. He then rang back on several different area codes around the country but I didn't answer
Picked up the call, could hear lots of laughing, said "hello?", a male foreign voice, in the midst of laughing, then said "Hi, my name is Brian..." then laughed again. I repeated "hello?", could hear more laughing then the call was terminated at their end. Total timewasters, thank god I wasn't treated to the usual spamming spiel.
rang twice, never left a message on my answerphone. Reading the comments made, I've had this phone call before re the router and something wrong with the line.
Strong foreign accent male who claimed to be from Sky, told me they detected hacking software on my device. Hung up
Looks like Edward is still up to his tracks, talked over me and did not refelect the manners of a normal customer service. When I said he was talking ballocks, he said no the phone line is not registered against Mr Bollocks. LoL
Just had a call from this number from a guy who was foreign who informed me that he was from BT and said my internet router had a hacking file on it and BT have been receiving messages from it for the last few weeks. I asked him for a tele number so I could ring back and he said he would give me his name and employee id. Said his name was Brian Wilson so I asked if he was a member of the Beach Boys pop group. he said no (LoL), gave me some form of employee id and then wanted to do things to my router. Told him that I did not have time at the moment and asked him to get to the point of the call. He then hung up.
I had a phone call from Edward who had a very strong foreign accent. He said he was from BT and there was a problem with my internet. He asked what lights were on on my router and I strung him along with made up answers. he said he could see that that was the case and wanted ti know what devises I had. I told him he was Phishing and he said he wasn't. I then told him we did not have the internet (which we haven't on the stand alone line he phoned on). He called me a f*****g dick and put the phone down.
