01527 419014 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Called on 01527 419014 and 01527 419042 Didn’t answer as sene these comments lol

Twice in 2 days scottish power scam asking for details told them I pay by my app and direct debit they wanted to ask my details email etc said I don't speak to outreach centre by this time the young lady who sounded Indian cute off. She has different name each time and you can hear a lot of activity and voices in the background. Please be aware and be careful

If any company and I do mean any company gives out your information to anyone without your permission ie a debt collector. All you have to say to a debt collector or company " I DID NOT GIVE MY PERMISSION TO SHARE MY DATA. even if they buy your debt. I said that I did not give consent on my data being sold. Passed on. And I have had my debt cleared off. Because data share without your permission is illegal within companies. Hope this helps... The highest law of any land, Common law

SP - private debt collector agency.

Received call from this number just after noon. Automated voice message that Scottish Power are trying to contact me, and that I should press 1 to be connected to a SP customer service adviser. Hung up. Anyone automated voice message that asks me to press #1, or whatever, to be connected to a company is in my opinion a scam. Googled the number, and it is reported as being a scam number, or a fake debt recovery firm allegedly operating on behalf of SP.

Who ever used this Telephone number also has recently used : 01925939976 (4.3.22) then: 01439339268 (9.3.22), then 01433440012 (10.3.22) These latest to landline. Today (12.3.22) 01527419014 to mobile.

As soon as I asked what number he was calling from he hung up.

Private debt collection company based in South Africa must be working with full co operation of Scottish Power as they have ac balance. Operator admitted same. They use UK based landline number to fool you, will ask you to pay more even if you already have arrangement dont give them any bank details. Suggest you try and complain to SP but everytime I phone SP they answer from SA. Already had 15 calls suggest clear ac as per arrangement then get new supplier also email SP chief exec email available via internet BLOCK ANY NUMBER WITH ANY 01527 PREFIX

Questioned if they are scottish power she said yes I said well you should know ac is up to date they try to get you to pay off balance been called every day for two weeks i then asked if she got paid by SP she refused to answer after asking again she admitted she was not I said are you private debt collector agency she ended conversation. All calls were made with very bad English speaking staff. I made call to SP HQ answered twice from call centre in South Africa. SUGGEST EVERYBODY THAT GETS CALLS FROM 01527 BLOCKS CALLS.

Caller announces themselves as from Scottish power, called me by a shortening of my first name and asked for my security details. i had assumed this to be a scam call and so refused. i called Scottish power to check if this was a scam, they said no, it is genuine they collect debt for us- and though i have no debt with SP. apparently, they cannot stop the calls- i've had a tleast six in 3 days so far. My bill, paid at a paypoint was one day late and these calls will go on and on -SP. said there is nothing they can do. Needs the complaints process following all the way to OFGEM/Moneybox etc.

the operators on this number say they are Scottish power but when questioned several times during the last few months they do have a/c info and can see you have arrangements but still try to get you to pay lump sum or increase any arrangement my conclusion is they are a contract company working on behalf of SP I have now questioned operators several times (1) do you work for Scottish power ( "we are SP ") (2) do you get paid by SP ("we are SP ") (3) Do you get paid by SP (that is private information) sir. I have been paying weekly instalments all up to date my conclusion private debt collectors being paid on results and not SP staff. Scottish Power should investigate this companies methods of operation.

Scottish Power demanding money despite proving twice that the bills have been paid. Oversees call centre who do not listen to any explanation.

Just received a call from this number, threatening me to make online payments or court actions will be processed when i currently resolving being sent a wrong bill with Scottish power
