Scammer calling claiming they're from Currys. Looking to renew a care plan. Had my name, knew what product I had a care plan for, and the last four digits of my bank account so I had falsely assumed they were real and Currys had changed their renewal method for some reason. After hanging up felt quite confused so decided to look up the number, can't find it connected to Currys online. Called the Currys official number, they've confirmed they wouldn't have called like that. Feel a bit stupid, in hindsight they offered an arguably cheap renewal, but it is what it is. They already have my information lmao, presumably from Currys information leaks from years ago 💀

Claiming to be from Currys and asked if I I wanted to extend my TV warranty. I said no as I don't have it. The phone was put down. It a suspicion phone.
