01443 544986 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Says hes from EON but EON has never once been in contact with me

Repeatedly has called me, never replies and hangs up

Answered, waited, for someone to speak, they ended the call. They rang a number of times previous, never left a v/mail. Comes up on the phone as scam call. BEWARE.

Had the same thing to husband's mobile but as he didn't have hearing aids in, passed the call to me. Wanted to know if we were happy with tariff and if we wanted to discuss new tariffs, but first would need to ask a few security questions. He wasn't interested and they rang off. Thanks to others for heads-up on scam. Also, our land-line's the one registered, not his mobile.

A scam call. Claimed to be from EON Next, asking which type of tariff I was on and if I'd considered changing. The caller didn't ask for further details and hung up. I called EON who confirmed that this was not them and they were not associated with that number. Beware.

I answered, was a Welsh guy saying he was from Eon who are my energy provider. Sounded legit on the phone and quite a pleasant guy. He knew my name and asked me to confirm my address for security. I didn't want to confirm and I told him I don't know who you are. He said that's fine and for me to call Eon customer service myself if I wanted to, to verify that way. I haven't done that yet. Sounded legit, but checked here and seems like a scam?

they just called me and immediately hung up. Blocked.

Called claiming to be from EON Next. Knew my full name. I asked for a call back then searched the number. Multiple reports that it is a scam caller. Blocked.

Answered phone and they immediately hung up…

Claimed to be from Eon Next & said it was a general customer curtesy call just to check everything was ok on my account. Immediately asked me to start telling them personal details (address etc). I refused & tweeted Eon Next who told me it wasn’t them.
