Reckoned to be calling from Currys / PC world about an offer to swap my phone with a like-for-like one. Yeah, right! Blocked.
Rang for a few mins then cut off. Reading these comments we never called back just blocked the number. For this that are saying they are from EE if they say they are in India so EE call centres have been moved to the UK no longer use India call centres. So don't believe them, never give your full passwords to anyone. Even if the call drops then they go through DPA please don't give different letters than previous as this is how they get your full password, drop of a few times and if you have a short password they will have your full password within a few dropped calls.
called me and told me about an iPhone 13 upgrade and said he knew what phone I was using to which I replied yes I just borrowed this phone. and he hung up on me straight away.
Missed two calls today. Thanks for the heads up that this is spam!!
Called saying he was speaking from carphone warehouse, knew it was spam but entertained the convo. Offered a iPhone 13 pro for £49.99 on a 12 month contract. This absolutely confirmed that it was a spam. Too good to be true. STAY AWAY. AVOID.
Cold call. Male voice with strong Indian/Asian accent saying he was from EE and I was selected for phone upgrade and reduced phone bill. He got irritated when I said how do I know he's from ee and seemed quite rude. Definitely scammer
SPAM - DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK. TRYING FOR CREDIT CARD DETAILS
Asian man with an accent so strong I couldn’t understand most of it but he said he works for O2, I asked if he worked directly for O2 and he said yes, he only hung up when I asked how long I’ve got left on my Contract
Noted a missed call and unfamiliar number. Checked here. Blocked the number
Rang - answered and they rang off straight away. No idea who they were but clearly dodgy.
Unknown as didn’t answer, rang about six rings. Did recognise this number. Searched the No saw this thread and blocked the number.
Eles me ligaram e falaram palavras de baixo calão. Perguntaram se eu queria fazer sexo e que minha parte íntima era gostosa.
Lady with not very great English skills called and said she was from carphone warehouse and asked if I wanted to buy an iPhone. She then started laughing. I asked what she was laughing at and she told me that I was a joker. I hadn't said anything other than hello. I am certain this call was a scam, but I don't care if she was from carphone warehouse I'm not answering my phone to hear a sales person laugh down the phone. I put the phone down after I told her to stop being an idiot.
called and didn't say anything, then hung up after 10 seconds
