Called me in Great Yarmouth, knew my name, claimed to be about my Boiler Protection Plan.

Silent call - having read other comments of recent reports I have blocked the number and plan to report it to Action Fraud

THIS IS A CON. Hang up or block this number, everyone. A guy called 'Simon' called from this number. I asked where from, and he was hesitant to say. I asked if this is a sales call. He said no. He wouldn't say the company name (suspicious!), he just said it was about a washing machine guarantee. I said do you want to give me the message so I can pass it on? (This was my Mum's number), and he said, "I'll call back." I said, "Please don't." He hung up straight away! Time wasting.

Just had phone call from this no 01349 613313 re guarantee running out on our washing machine. Asking ime to extend guarantee. Once I told this Asian caller I already had another 3 year extended cover, he stopped calling.

An individual with an Asian accent purporting to call about our washing machine! I'm afraid that I put the phone down without listening to his script but clearly it would have been an attempt to defraud. I doubt very much if the call was made from a source anywhere near Dingwall.
