Opening gambit "this is not a scam call" Then went on to offer loft insulation check. Male Scots accent. Very persistent, wouldn't say how he acquired our phone number. Treating as a scam call. Told to bugger off by the wife. Number blocked.
This person said his name was David and he was calling from Windows and Doors. I replied we didn't ask you to phone us and hung up. We are registered with Telephone Preference Service, so shouldn't be getting unsolicted calls.
Some overly bright energy saving idiot, who wouldn't let me get "Go away!" in edgeways. Claimed he had my number from some government website, which I don't think was the truth.
