Claiming to be from o2. Offering iphone 13 pro max unlimited everything for £40 a month. Said I was interested and they put me through to another woman who attempted to log in to my personal o2 account and said that I needed to give her my private security login number that was sent to me in a text that SPECIFICALLY states not to give anyone calling and claiming to be from o2. Absolutely hilarious. I asked them to send me an email with the offer and I’d log in myself and they hung up

Agree hard to hear, also sounded like they said they were from "phonehouse" or more like house phone something or other when I asked to repeat so I terminated call and having now looked it up confirms my suspicions thank you. They are presumably poor mimics from the other comments. When are they going to sort these people out?

Individual advising they are from O2 and they are running a 50% discount on my latest bill they wanted to send me a text with a link and discount code. Immediately I got a text from an O2 advising that this was a scam. Ignore.

Rang it back. Answerphone said it was a company called Excon.

Carphone Warehouse - Fraud I received a call from "01270311026" (stating Leeds) yesterday with the same request. I hung up and they called again today on this number (stating Barnstaple). Stated they could provide me with a one off payment of £35.99 for free calls and texts for 24 months. I stayed on the line providing false information to make notes of what info they wanted. Questions they asked: - full name - date of birth - current place of abode - rent/private rent or owner of property - job - my sort number - account number - long card number on the front. They said my item will be delivered on my door step. - I don't know how anyone could believe this scam because they are not very good at it at all.

Was hard to hear, sounded like they said they were from phonehouse company, said as an iPhone user I was due an upgrade Told them to remove my name and details from their data base they don't have permission to hold my info, got as far as data and they hung up.

Rang for 7 rings, I ignored.

He said his name was Max from Currys PC world Asian chap sounded broken English Weirdo said I did not want any Curry!

I answered and there was a silence for a second then a man shouted (not sure what) and hung up. I have blocked this number
