Claiming to be from carephone warehouse, I had a feeling it was going to be scam of some sort, so I carried on the conversation for entertainment purposes. He said they could beat my current deal at which point I told them it was £16. I asked where he got my number from as I have never had any dealings with carephone warehouse, he wouldn't really answer that. Asked if he was calling from an India (due to the accent) he claimed to be in London. I asked what I would need to do to proceed with his deal, he said he would need to my personal details and bank details, i told he would already have these details if the call was legitimate. It got a little boring at this point so I told him I would not be sharing any personal details with him and put the phone down.

I think they were from a mobile phone company, very strong Indian accent so hard to tell (along with a lot of background noise) but I did hear something about contract, minutes and data. They asked if whatever they were offering was good for me then got quite annoyed when I said no. I appreciate everyone has a job to do but my number isn't listed anywhere so the call was unsolicited. I ended up hanging up and blocking the number
