01229 846233 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Just had a very similar thing happen as above! Don't give her any info - I had the phone slammed down on me too! RUDE

Quite simply this woman is a crook. Not only is she a crook, but shes a rude crook. She tried to make out to me that she was calling from Nominet and then tried to sell me a .com domain name. Nominet is an organisation that polices .co.uk domains. They have nothing whatsoever to do with .com's I have reported the number to Nominet, Ofcom and as they foolishly called me again today, I am now going to raise a case with the police via Action Fraud. When they called today she wanted to know if I was the owner of the business. I asked who they were. She responded by saying that she needed to check who she was talking to. I said that she didn't need to know who she was talking to, to be able to tell me who she was. She then swore and hang up. I called back. Was spoken to rudely before she hung up again. I called back again and again. I have discovered that this is one way to get back at them. They have had over 60 calls from me today and will continue to get them until I find out who they are, or the number is put out of service. She then had the cheek to say that I was harassing them! I said phone the police then. She said I don't have to - you're harassing me. I said that harassment is a criminal offence, so she had better call the police. She swore again and hung up. I think more people should do this - they will soon stop or change the number.

soooo rude. unsolicited call, asking me to confirm all sorts of info about web addresses - when I asked what the call was about 'Eleanor' kept asking me to confirm info, i declined to give any further info, she accused me of having no manners or professionalism so i hung up. Despicable

Very rude lady would not answer our questions or give us any information, we hung up on her and she called back 3 times, wanting the owner, we declined to give any info.

Also recieved a call from this extremely rude vile woman. Trying to sell me some useless .net URL - once she found out I wasn't the director of the company she laughed with colleague and hung up. Tried calling her back, no answer.

Received a message off this number a very rude lady asked to speak to the owner, when I asked who was calling she put down the phone. I phoned the number back and said you just put the phone down on me and she said f-off and put the phone down again.
