Male called me to tell me he was from Vodafone and that they could see my sim card was having problems with receiving calls. As I'm not with Vodafone I was immediately suspicious. Told me they could fix the issue. Started asking me to confirm my phone number which I though was also odd since he was already calling me on it, so I hung up. He immediately called me back so I just terminated the call. Sounds like it may have been a 'sim swap' scam.

Indian gentleman called today 08/04/26 to tell me that I had a dodgy sim card which was going to cause me problems. But never fear as they had some updated technology that would fix the issue!! They couldn't tell me what my network was but they want to send me a new sim card which will be "problem free" I think not!!

Called earlier 17th March '26) claiming to be from Three Mobile. Offered me a discount as an exising loyal customer. I'm not, and never have been a customer. I strung her along for a few minutes, too much time to spare! She could/would not give me any ficticious account details, obviously didn't have any. Wanted my bank account details to amend the monthly payment by reducing it by £2.50/month. Once I admitted to lying, she immediatly hung up.
