Said they were "Adam from Boots Opticians" phoning to tell me my eye examination was overdue. (It wasn't, but I do go to Boots for this). I stated that it wasn't and gave some details about my last appointment. He then asked "What about lenses"? It became clear that he was trying to get me to sign up for a contact lens contract - or, I suspect, simply acquire my bank details to scam me. When I said I wasn't interested in lenses, he said "What about others in the household"? THIS IS NOT something which Boots would do. Number blocked.

Birmingham call. Short ring time probably trying to see if active or trying to find best times to get through. other reports of this number has it as harassing or scam attempts.
