Ringing the house landline and my mobile, don’t have EE. I don’t know who this number is, never spoken to whoever they are

Received a call at 5.45 pm claiming to be from EE offering a 30% discount. I have a cheap rolling month contract and so 30% is nothing. So I said "Do you know how much I pay?" They must have thought I was checking they were legit as they hung up straight away. Number blocked.

The caller pretended to be representing EE. I immediately asked if the call was a scam and she replied "no, you a scam!" and hung up. Do not entertain this number.
